I want to highlight your favorite dad. YOUR dad! He turned “the big 4-0” at the end of 2021 and he picked Key West as his birthday destination for our friends trip.
We flew into Miami and then took our own private charter van down through the Keys. We checked into a fun hotel where we shared their 3 bedroom penthouse suite.
We had dinner and called it a night so we could wake up early to celebrate the birthday boy.
Birthday breakfast at Blue Heaven and we were immediately greeted by the island's natives -- wild roosters!
His birthday shirt made people laugh all day!
No need to wait in the line that wrapped around the block - just squeeze in a pic on the side of the buoy!
Our suite had a flight theme that added to the fun!
Dad's birthday dinner was at A&B Lobster house and involved some of the best food and drinks ever!!!
Our hotel had fun transportation to take us back and forth to Duval!
Not pictured was a fun afternoon jet skiing around the ocean!

It was a great destination choice and I loved that we got to mark another spot off our travel list.
