Spring Sports

Dearest Athletes,

Spring 2015 made for a really choppy sports season.  The "season" was plagued with crappy weather.  We rarely practiced and games were cancelled often.  The associations tried to reschedule but we ended up with shortened schedules all around.

Colt, you stuck with baseball for a 2nd season but your original coach decided to have his son play up an age group so you got placed with the Hotrods instead (Did you know Bowling Green had a minor league team?  Now you do!).  Luckily, you wear yellow well ; )

Don't be fooled!  - You were thrilled to be catcher!!
You were awarded your trophy when the team met up at a nearby playground.

Your team got together once more for a pool party and everyone was already talking about looking forward to next season!

Jax, you were back at it with baseball and soccer.  You stayed with your same soccer coach although we quit rec. soccer altogether.  Instead, y'all only played at the academy level.  We heard that some baseball teams were entering a competitive league; therefore, you attended the try outs to see which competitive team you could join.  You were selected for the Rangers so we got new uniforms yet again...

Your baseball games were exciting and I was often (always) too busy cheering to take pictures...but I promise that you played your heart out!

And soccer provided even less photo opportunities.  You always hustled so my pictures would've been blurry anyway ; )

I did take this pic during one of our post-game dinners though.
We love the fun friends we've made on the team as much as you love playing!

And one of those fun friends sent me this photo of you during a throw-in.  So there's the only proof I have of this season's soccer (Mommy Fail!).

Your passion for playing keeps us busy but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Bluebonnets

Dearest Boys,

Bluebonnets are a tradition....just one of the many reasons that I love Texas.

This year y'all were more into the exploring than the picture taking but Grandma helped me snag a few cute shots:

Of course, most of the pictures captured one of you picking on the other somehow...

Hang in there...I'll only make you do this for about 10 more years...or so.
