2024, January - March

Dearest Boys,

Happy New Year!  The Vaughns served up their superstitious foods on New Years Day as we didn't want to take any chances this year!

I got together with some old teammates to celebrate Clay's well deserved retirement.

Soccer at Marcus started and we were pumped for your second year.  You were disappointed to be on JV2 but it only took a game or two before they moved you up to the higher team.

Downing hosted their Sweet Tooth Bakery and you & Kinley made time for a quick pic while working.

Colt, your ensemble had a competition and I couldn't believe that middle school band was coming to a close.

The Facklers hosted a fun tasting at their house one night and I pretended to participate.

Grandpa and Grandma came into town in March.  Jax, you invited a "friend" over for dinner.  Her first time at our house and she had dinner with both sets of grandparents.  Talk about diving in!!

The reason Gma and Gpa came to town was so that I could chaperone accompany Dad on his work trip to Miami.  He went to work events during the day while I enjoyed the beach/pool and then we met up for meals.

We came home to find Grandma teaching you things I cannot!  LOL!

We thanked them for their help with a round of Top Golf.

Spring Break came and we stayed in town.  I took you two + Camryn to the Puttery one day over the break.

You would later reveal that she officially became your girlfriend on this "date".

Colt, baseball got back at it and I gasped as I realized you became taller than your coach!

Jax, club soccer got back at it and your team played really well!

And the next few pictures are courtesy of social media.  Sometimes I find y'all posted somewhere and I save the photo.

Like this time Downing Band obviously competed and won something : )

And this time when Young Life played sand volleyball.

And YL always takes a picture after bible study.  Can you find yourself, Jax??

Easter was at the {cotton}tail end of March and Grandpa and Grandma hosted us again.

How many more years of Easter baskets??  : )
