Spring Break

Dearest Boys,

March brought one of my favorite things with it - SPRING BREAK!  We did a lot of relaxing, played at the park with friends, took Grandma out to lunch, and even went with the Vaughns to Top Golf.  But one of the best parts of the week was the day Daddy took off of work and we took a mini-road trip to Glen Rose, Texas.  We finally (I've been wanting to do this for years but waited until y'all were old enough) went to Fossil Rim.  Fossil Rim is an *1,800 acre wildlife center that is home to about *1,000 animals (*actual numbers from their website).  We drove slowly through the park feeding the animals along the way.

There was a cafe at the peak of the park with a beautiful look out spot.

The drive out of the park was my favorite as we drove through the giraffe's "neck of the woods" (HA!  Get it?!).

These curious guys had no concept of personal space, which was FUN!

Right through the sunroof!

Luckily for us, the cheetahs weren't allowed to roam free.  But we still got close enough to hear them purr (so cool and something I didn't even know they did!).

This guy was also secluded for the safety of us and our vehicles ; )

Although it was a lot of time spent in a car, it was worth it!  Next time we go, I want to take the truck and sit in the bed for the tour!
