Today was the end of an era.
Well, in this momma’s eyes it was.
This was the 1 and only year that you boys would be in the same “class”. We put a lot of consideration into what to do
with you boys while we worked. On one
hand, we absolutely love Ms. Stephanie.
On the other hand, we loved how much you were blossoming in preschool,
Jax. When we decided to send both of you
boys to Steph’s this year, a huge part of that decision was because we wanted
you to be together. Really, there were
more factors involved in this decision than I can even begin to explain – but we
wanted you two to really bond and have this shared experience. We questioned ourselves frequently, especially
on the days when you, Jax, said you’d rather be in school learning than playing
with the “babies” at Stephanie’s house.
Despite a few bumps in the road, I’m so glad you had this year
together. In August, it will only be
Colton with Steph and Jax will be off to the “big kid school” that you’ve
wished for so many times lately. Today
was your last official day at her house (although you’ll see her 3 or 4 times
this summer), so I had to document it with a picture.
Colt, you wanted a special moment with Stephy too and I love
how happy you are with her and that I could capture it!
After your morning with Steph, we celebrated the end of the
school year with a yummy lunch with the friends responsible for your “big kid
school” desire.
